Santa Chris is a wonderful Santa and even more wonderful to work with. We had him for our "Christmas in July" and he not only wanted to bring props and things to hand out to the children, but also planned special story time and art time with Santa for the children. I have never seen a Santa do this before, but I wish more would! Not just many, but ALL of our kids left their Santa anxiety behind after meeting Santa Chris and continued to realize how kind and approachable he is. By the end of our program, many kids were talking with Santa Chris, showing him artwork, or introducing new children to him. I have never seen a Santa be so popular with children (on their own terms!) as Santa Chris was here at the library. I cannot wait for him to come back and have fun in his full Christmastime Santa self!

Santa has personally confirmed that the stop-action film "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," although very entertaining, got it all wrong. He loved Rudolph's blinking nose from the very beginning and would have never allowed such a thing to disqualify him from helping to pull the sleigh.
